Owner Amenities.

Chickasaw Point offers POA members amenities that can be reserved for private or open-to-the-community events.

Private Vs. Community Focused Events

Private Use Events (Fee-Based Rental)

Private Use Events are functions held for the primary purpose of celebrating, honoring, or gathering around a specific individual or defined group of individuals. These events are organized by a host for invited guests and are personal in nature. A rental fee is required for use of the amenity space.

Private Use Events include, but are not limited to:

● Birthday parties

● Bridal or baby showers

● Wedding-related events

● Anniversaries

● Graduation celebrations

● Memorials or family gatherings

● Any event intended for a specific person or group

Important Clarification:

An event is considered Private Use even if it is advertised to, or attended by, additional community members. If the event’s purpose is to celebrate or honor a specific individual or group, it falls under this category and requires a rental agreement and applicable fees.

Community Focused Events (No Rental Fee)

Community Focused Events are functions designed to benefit the broader community by fostering social interaction, inclusion, and shared experiences among all residents. These events are open to the entire community, are not centered around celebrating a specific individual or private group, and are intended to encourage participation, connection, and engagement.

Community Focused Events include, but are not limited to:

● Social mixers

● Educational programs

● Club meetings

● Community meals or gatherings

● Recreational or interest-based events

● Seasonal or themed events open to all residents

Eligibility Requirements:

To qualify as a Community Focused Event:

● The event must be open to all residents without restriction

● The event must be publicized to the whole community

● The event may not celebrate or honor a specific individual or private group

● The primary purpose must be community engagement rather than a personal celebration

● Recreational or interest-based events

● Seasonal or themed events open to all residents

Events meeting these criteria are exempt from rental fees, though approval and scheduling through management are still required.

Management reserves the right to classify events based on purpose and structure to ensure consistent application of rental policies.
