Join us for the annual Chickasaw Halloween Trick-or-Treat Hayride on Saturday, October 31st.

HAYRIDE ROUTE

• We will meet at the Overlook parking lot and load up at 4:45pm, we will take a group picture and then start the route at 5:00pm.

• Our route will be down South Hogan to Chickasaw Dr. and looping back to finish at The Overlook.

• Adults are not required to ride the hayride.

• IMPORTANT NOTE: The parade is reserved for hayride trucks and trailers only. No golf carts or vehicles are permitted to follow the hayride

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

You can join in the fun in three ways:

1. RIDE ALONG – Hop on the hayride and enjoy the parade route

2. BE A STOP – Host a treat stop along the way. (The hayride will only stop at houses located on Chickasaw Drive or at connecting street corners)

3. TRUNK OR TREAT– Hand out candy from your decorated trunk! Bring your car (and candy!) to the Overlook Parking Lot by 6:30 PM

Chickasaw Point Blood Drive

The Bloodmobile will be in our community on Saturday, November 7th. It will be parked in the parking lot of the Chickasaw Pool.

Join Us As We Honor Our Chickasaw Point Veterans & Their Families

On Tuesday November 11 the Men’s Club will be hosting the annual Veterans Day Ceremonies at The Overlook.

The day will begin at 7am with a brief wreath laying at The Overlook flagpole.

At 11am, inside The Overlook there will be a formal ceremony honoring our country’s veterans. We invite the veterans and their family members to bring memorabilia for display, such as photographs, uniform items, military awards, etc. Items may be brought beginning at 10:30am.

Veteran Display

We will be presenting a tribute slideshow of Chickasaw Point veterans or relatives throughout the event. If you haven’t submitted a photo before and would like to include yourself or a family member, please email the photo—along with their branch, years served, and any interesting facts—to David Henry at dh52mail@yahoo.com.

After the Ceremony

Enjoy light refreshments and an opportunity to view the displays and share stories with fellow veterans and community members.

The ceremony is open to the public - All are welcome!

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

5: 15 PM - PARADE PARTICIPANTS - RALLY AT COMMUNITY CENTER PARKING LOT

All those who wish to participate in the parade. Please decorate and light up your cart and meet in the parking lot for assistance lining up for the parade

5:30 PM - GOLF CART DEPARTURE

Parade will proceed from the Community Center parking lot to the front entrance and then onto the Overlook Deck. (We ask that residents NOT attending the event, please avoid the front gate area from 6:00 - 6:30PM)

5:30 - 6:15 PM - RESIDENTS ARE INVITED TO WATCH THE PARADE from their driveways or the side streets connected to Chickasaw Drive.

6:15 PM - RESIDENTS WHO ARE NOT PARTICIPATING IN PARADE but would like to join us at the Overlook Deck are invited to get in their cars or golf carts and follow the parade. If you would like to wait at the front entrance or the Overlook for the parade to arrive, please be there by 5:45 PM

6:15 PM - PARADE ARRIVES AT OVERLOOK DECK

6:15- 8:00 PM - SANTA WILL FLY IN FROM THE NORTH POLE TO GREET ALL THE CHILDREN and THE GRINCH WILL STOP BY FOR SOME HOLIDAY MISCHIEF!  Don your best holiday sweater, get pictures with Santa, treats for the kids and enjoy some Holiday music.

To help us prepare, PLEASE REGISTER if you plan to participate in the Golf Cart Parade, then meet at the Community Center Parking Lot at 5:15...Lit Up and Ready To Go!!!!
